VEGETABLE SOUP WITH KIELBASA 
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. thinly sliced onion
8 oz. kielbasa, sliced
4 c. chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen Japanese vegetables
1/2 c. pastina (tiny star-shaped macaroni)
Pepper to taste

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, cook 5 minutes. Add kielbasa and broth, bring to boil over high heat. Add vegetables, pastina, and pepper; return to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Makes 4 servings.
