1 green stick, about 1/8" diameter 1/4 lb. round steak, cut in 1" by 1/4" thick pieces 1 sm. onion, cut in 1/4" slices 1 med. size potato, partially boiled, cut in 1/4" slices 2 strips bacon, cut in about 1" squares 2 rolls or 2 slices of bread Place pieces of steak, onion, potato and bacon alternately on stick and push them down the stick and leave a little space between pieces. Repeat in same order as above. Sear quickly all over by holding the kebab closet to the coals, then cook slowly a little above the coals, turning until done. Variations: Use the following for the beef: pork, liver, oysters. |
