CHOCOLATE NUT LOAF (CSOKOLADES
DOOS CIPO [KENYER])
 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
5 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
3 sq. melted chocolate
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten yolks, sift flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to mixture. Add buttermilk, vanilla, melted chocolate and nuts.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in long loaf pan at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
