PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)

Combine sugar, water, salt and peanut butter in small saucepan. Bring to boil, then cook uncovered over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cool. Serve on ice cream, custard bread or rice pudding. Makes 1 cup.
