MOUNTAIN SALAD 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 head cabbage, chopped
2 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes or 4 fresh tomatoes, peeled and quartered
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Accent seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon in deep fat until crisp. Remove, leaving bacon fat. Put in chopped cabbage, onions, green pepper, and celery. Add tomatoes, soy sauce, Accent, and salt. Simmer and stir until vegetables are done. Serve with chopped bacon pieces.
