MOM'S BEST POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
5 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Mix sugar, shortenings and eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one. Add flavorings. Add pudding mix; mix well. Add flour and milk alternately. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. (You do need to preheat oven.)

GLAZE:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 c. milk

Mix. Pour over cake while hot.
