DOUBLE-GOOD MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni 1 (1 lb.) container cream style cottage cheese 3/4 c. sour cream 1 egg, beaten slightly 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. grated onion 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded Cook macaroni, following label directions; drain. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, pepper, onion and cheese in large bowl; mix lightly until blended; fold in macaroni. Spoon into a baking dish, 9 x 9 x 2 inches. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 8. |
