SHRIMP GUMBO | |
1/4 lb. butter 1 1/2 onions 1 bell pepper 1/3 bunch parsley 1/3 bulb garlic 4/5 tbsp. paprika 1/3 tbsp. red pepper 1/3 tbsp. black pepper 2/3 tbsp. salt 1 1/2 bay leaves 1/2 tbsp. thyme 1/3 tbsp. oregano 2 c. tomato sauce 2 c. shrimp stock 2 lb. shrimp 1 can crab meat Combine butter, onions, bell pepper, parsley and garlic; chop and cook down. Then add paprika, red pepper, black pepper, salt, bay leaves, thyme, oregano, tomato sauce and shrimp stock. Boil and simmer 50 minutes. Add shrimp and crab meat. |
