1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. almond

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and flavoring. Sift dry ingredients. Mix rolls in small balls. Flatten with buttered bottom of glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake on cookie sheet in 350 degree oven about 8 minutes until golden brown.
