BAKED CUSTARD 
3/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/4 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt
Scant 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Dilute condensed milk with hot water and pour gradually over beaten eggs, add salt. Pour in a baking pan or custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg and place in a pan of hot water. Bake in slow oven, 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until custard is set. A knife blade inserted will come out clean when custard is done. This is a very old recipe from Grandma Coite Schacht.
