NUT CAKE 
1/2 lb. real butter
6 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour (Swan or Soft Silk)
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 c. nuts

Cream butter, sugar and sour cream until fluffy. Add soda and vanilla. Add 2 eggs at a time per cup of flour. Add nuts last and mix well. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
