DILLED PIONEER LOAF 
1 pkg. dry yeast (or 1 cake)
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. dill seed
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
Salt

Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Mix onion, butter, salt and all other ingredients, except flour. Add yeast, mix well. Gradually add flour to make a firm dough. Oil bowl, place dough in bowl. Oil top of dough. Cover with plastic wrap. Let stand 1 hour, or until doubled. Punch down and put in well buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Let rise 30 minutes or until light. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Turn out of pan; brush with butter and sprinkle with salt.
