LEE'S MOM'S PIGS IN BLANKETS 
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. rice
1 beaten egg
1/4 dry onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 of a green pepper, chopped
1 lg. loose leafed cabbage
3/4 bottle catsup

Cook rice and cool. Steam cabbage and remove leaves as they get limp. Mix meats, spices, egg, cooked rice, salt and pepper, green pepper, and onion. Place a heaping tablespoon of mixture on each leaf and roll. Put all "pigs" in baking or roasting pan. Pour tomato sauce and catsup over "pigs" and bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.
