CARAMEL PECAN ROLLS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
3 1/4 - 3 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. corn syrup
2/3 c. pecan halves (optional)
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, butter, egg; mix. Add flour; knead briefly. Let rise to double size. Poke down; roll out to oblong size. Spread with melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. roll up with sugar/cinnamon inside.

Mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and pecans in pan and pour into baking pan. Cut rolled-up dough (1 inch sections) and place on brown sugar mixture. Let rise to double. Bake at 375 degrees.
