J. F. K. WAFFLES 
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 egg yolks
1 c. plus 1 tbsp. sifted cake flour
7/8 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
4 tsp. baking powder

Cream sugar and butter. Beat in yolks. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add alternately with milk, fold in egg whites.
