CHILI CON CARNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
1 (8-10 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. pepper
Salt (optional)

Fry ground beef, breaking up with a fork. Add onion, cook until tender. Add spices. Add sauce and beans. Simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour. Add more spices to taste.
