HUNGARIAN GOULASH 
2 lbs. beef chuck, cut in 1" pieces
3 tbsp. hot fat (Crisco)
1 c. sliced onions
2 sm. cloves garlic, minced
3/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of pepper
2 c. water

Brown beef chuck in hot fat (Crisco). Add sliced onions and garlic. Mix catsup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, salt, mustard and pepper and stir in. Add water. Cover and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Thicken with a mixture of 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water. Pour goulash over cooked noodles. Serves 6 to 8.
