SWEDISH POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 can Angel Flake coconut

Cream sugar and butter. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add rest of ingredients. (Note: This has no liquid.) Bake in a greased tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees for about 1 hour. While cake is still in pan pour on it the following.

SYRUP:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water

Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes. Stir in: 1 tsp. almond flavoring
