GOLDEN BROWN RICE 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raw rice
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained, save liquid
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
1/2 c. water

Brown lightly butter, rice, drained mushrooms. Stir in soup, liquid from mushrooms and water. Cook, covered over low heat until rice is tender. Simmer about 25 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
