1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix altogether and cook in double boiler until thick. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat. Layer mixture with vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. End with pudding on top.

Can beat egg whites until stiff, adding 1/4 cup sugar and beating again until glossy. Spread on top and bake at 350 degrees until top is browned.
