MEXICAN MEAT BALLS WITH CHILI
VERDE
 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 slice bread, torn up
1/2 tsp. mint leaves, chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg

Mix all the ingredients, form into small balls. Moisten hands with cold water to keep meat from sticking to them. I boil mine in water for 5 to 10 minutes, then drain (green mole). I use 2 cans of green chili verde! Or in blender put: 1 lettuce leaf 1/2 of onion 2 chiles serrano, chopped 2 sprigs cetantro 2 tbsp. oil 3 c. beef stock
