1 sm. onion
1 med. can tomatoes
1 sm. can diced green chilies
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
1 sm. container sour cream
1 med. bag Doritos (taco flavor or similar flavor)
1 tbsp. water

Oven at 325 degrees. Saute diced onion in 2 tablespoons oil. Add green chilies, tomatoes and taco seasoning mix. Add water and simmer 10-15 minutes, uncovered.

In layers place Doritos, mixture, Monterey Jack cheese, Doritos, mixture, Monterey Jack cheese. Continue until all mixture is gone (approximately 2 layers. Top with sour cream and bake in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese and bake 10 minutes more. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Makes 6-8 servings.
