PEACH PRESERVES 
3/4 lb. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 lb. ripe peaches

Wash, peel, remove stones, cut peaches in quarters. Boil sugar and water 10 minutes. Skim. Add fruit and cook quickly until transparent. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
