DEVIL DOGS 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 jar marshmallow fluff
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening, cocoa, sugar and egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoon on foiled cookie sheets. Flatten a little.

Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack. Beat butter, powdered sugar, fluff and vanilla until smooth. Put some on one cookie, cover with another. (Do all cookies.)
