2 onions 2 green peppers 1 lb. hamburger meat 1 qt. tomatoes 1 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. (red or black) pepper 3/4 c. uncooked rice or 1 c. macaroni 1 c. grated cheese or bread crumbs (sharp cheddar) Chop onions and peppers. Brown hamburger meat; drain. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir in rice or macaroni (uncooked). Put ingredients in baking dish; cover and cook 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Uncover and top with grated cheese or bread crumbs. |
