MOM'S FILLED COOKIES 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. soft Crisco
1 c. thick sour cream
Pie filling or thickened fruit of choice

Mix sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Add sour cream. Mix in remaining dry ingredients a little at a time. Chill until easy to handle (approximately 1-2 hours). Roll dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut out circles or other shapes and fill with fruit of choice. Flute edges with fork. Place cookies on greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
