TEXAS CAKE WITH FROSTING 
Frosting:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
6 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
1 lb. (1 box) powdered sugar

In a saucepan, mix together butter, milk and cocoa. Bring this mixture to a boil. Stir in vanilla, pecans and sugar. Pour over hot cake.

Cake Mixture:

1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream

Mix together flour and sugar; then set aside.

In a saucepan, combine together butter, water and cocoa. Bring mixture to a boil. Pour this cocoa mixture over flour mixture; mixing well. Add egg, vanilla and sour cream. Mix well. Pour into a greased 10 1/2 x 16 1/2-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
