BEV'S LIME PEAR SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
1 lg. can pears, drained, save juice
1/2 pt. heavy cream
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese

Dissolve lime gelatin in 1 cup hot pear juice. Mix cream cheese with 2 tablespoons heavy cream. Crush pears and add with cream cheese to gelatin. Whip mixture in blender or with an electric mixer until smooth. Chill thoroughly.

Whip remaining cream and fold into chilled gelatin mix. Pour into serving bowl and rechill. Cut into squares.

VARIATIONS:

For a lower calorie version - substitute low calorie cream cheese and a non-dairy whipped topping.

Olives, cherries or nuts may be added in with the cream for added taste and color.
