PEAR WALDORF SALAD 
3 med. pears, cored and chopped
3/4 c. sliced celery
3/4 c. grapes, halves and seeded
1 med. banana, sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg white
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sunflower nuts

In a large bowl combine pears, celery, grapes, and banana. Sprinkle lemon juice over fruit mixture and toss. In a small bowl use a rotary beater to beat egg white until soft peaks form (tips curl).

For dressing in a small bowl combine mayonnaise, milk, and sugar. Fold in egg white. Fold dressing into fruit mixture. Cover and chill for up to 1 hour, if desired. Sprinkle with sunflower nuts. Makes 8 servings.
