CORN BREAD DRESSING | |
6 c. corn bread, crumbled 4 c. white loaf bread, crumbled 1 c. celery, chopped 3/4 c. onion, finely chopped 4 eggs, beaten 1 c. broth 1/4 c. butter 1 tbsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. sage 2 c. broth Prepare bread for dressing. Cook celery and onion in 1 cup broth on low heat until tender. Add crumbs, seasoning and melted butter. Stir in beaten eggs and enough broth to make moist dressing. Pour into a greased pan and bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until brown. |
