TEXAS PRALINE CHEESECAKE 
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 tbsp.sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 1/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine crumbs, sugar and butter; press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at at time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; stir in pecans. Pour mixture over crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250 degrees, continue baking 30 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill. Brush with maple syrup and garnish with pecan halves, if desired.
