NEW ENGLAND CORN CHOWDER | |
3 slices salt pork, cut into cubes 1 med. onion, sliced 4 med. potatoes, cubed 6 lg. soda crackers 2 c. milk 2 c. fresh or canned cooked corn 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Brown salt pork in large saucepan. Add onion; cook until tender and lightly browned. Add potatoes and 2 cups of water. Cook until potatoes are tender. Soak crackers in milk. Add to potato mixture. Add corn, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. |
