BUTTER CREME MINTS 
4 tbsp. (one half stick) butter, softened
3 tbsp. or more condensed milk
4 c. (1 lb.) powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. spearmint flavoring
Paste coloring

Blend softened butter and condensed milk. Add color. Gradually add powdered sugar until mixture is stiff. Add condensed milk until it holds together. Add flavoring. Roll into small balls. Dip in granulated sugar before putting into molds. Makes about 90.

Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish. Let cool 20 to 30 minutes. When cool, break into pieces.
