PRETZEL SALAD | |
1ST LAYER: 1 c. crushed pretzels 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. pecans, chopped 3 tbsp. sugar 2ND LAYER: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 sm. Cool Whip 1/2 c. sugar 3RD LAYER: 1 lg. box strawberry Jello 1/2 c. cold water 1/2 lg. pack of frozen strawberries 1ST LAYER: Mix all together. Press down firm into baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool. 2ND LAYER: Mix all together. Pour over first layer. 3RD LAYER: Mix Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Then add 1/2 cup cold water. Pour over 2nd layer. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Great for a hot summer day! |
