PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat your oven 350 degrees.

Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Add egg and mix well. Sift flour once and measure. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add to creamed mixture. Add well drained pineapple.

Put raisins in hot water to puff. Add to mixture. Add vanilla to mixture. Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees until golden brown (10 minutes). Yields about 2 dozen.
