BEEF STROGANOFF | |
1 1/2 lb. round steak 1/4 c. flour 1/4 c. butter 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 sm. clove garlic, minced 1 can Campbell's beef broth Dash of pepper 3 c. noodles Cut round steak into thin strips; dust with flour and dash of pepper. In large skillet, brown meat in butter. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic; brown lightly. Stir in beef broth. Cover; cook about 1 hour or until meat is tender; stir now and then. Gradually stir in sour cream; cook over low heat 5 minutes. Serve over cooked noodles. Makes 4 servings. |
