LASAGNA | |
1 lb. lasagna noodles 2 lbs. ground beef 1 clove garlic 3/4 c. onion 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans meatless sauce 1 c. water 2 tsp. salt 2 c. (1 lb.) lg. curd cottage cheese 2 eggs, beaten 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Cook lasagna according to directions. Cook ground beef, garlic and onion in large, heavy saucepan for 10 minutes. Add next 3 ingredients and mix well. Let simmer gently for 15 minutes. Combine cottage cheese and beaten eggs. In a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch baking dish, arrange first a layer of lasagna and then alternate layer of other ingredients. End with a top layer of meat sauce. Sprinkle the surface with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
