JUDY'S BRAZIL NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. whole Brazil nuts
1 lb. pitted dates
1 c. well drained Maraschino cherries

Grease and line with wax paper a 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Place flour, sugar, baking powder in large bowl. Add nuts, dates and cherries. Mix with hands until well covered with flour. Beat 3 eggs and vanilla, stir in nuts and flour mixture. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes in 300 degree oven. Cool in pan, while still warm peel off wax paper. Wrap in foil. Store in refrigerator. Keeps well. Better if aged a few weeks before eating. Slice very thin to serve.
