TORTA DE ELOTE 
3 eggs
2 c. (1 can) cream of corn
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. oil
1 c. yellow corn meal
2 tsp. salt
1 sm. can Ortega whole green chiles
2 c. Cheddar or Jack cheese, grated
16 oz. cottage cheese

Mix all ingredients together, except chiles and grated cheese. Pour 1/2 of mixture into a large oblong Pyrex baking dish. Top with Ortega chiles, cut into strips and 1 cup grated cheese. Top with remaining egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done (will resemble a cake).
