JOE'S YUMMY YUMMY CASSEROLE | |
1 lg. onion, sliced 1 lb. scrambled hamburger 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into small squares (pieces) 1 lb. cooked med. size shells 1 lg. can whole tomatoes, cut up, save juice Ritz cracker crumbs for garnish Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook onions in a pan with a little oil. Brown them. Add hamburger. Place 1 can of soup in a double boiler. Add cheese and melt. Add onion and hamburger mixture. Add all to cooked and drained shells. Add tomatoes and 1/2 to 3/4 of the liquid. Put in casserole dish after mixing. Place cracker crumbs on top and cook for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 4. |
