INDIVIDUAL MEAT LOAVES 
2 tbsp. butter, at room temperature
1 med. size onion, chopped
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lg. egg
6 tbsp. ketchup
3 slices bacon, cut in half

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter 6 muffin cups. Crumble the meat with your hands into a bowl, add chopped onion and mix. Add the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Break egg into bowl. Mix it all together with your hands. Spoon 1 tablespoon ketchup into each muffin cup.

Using your hands, divide meat mixture evenly among the muffin cups. Place bacon on cutting board and cut each slice in half. Place 1 slice on each individual meat loaf. Place the muffin tin on a cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Serve bacon side down.
