ANISE CAPS 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. anise seed
Pinch of salt

Beat eggs for 5 minutes with mixer. Slowly add sugar and beat for 15 to 20 minutes. Blend in flour, salt and anise seed. Drop by teaspoon on buttered and floured cookie sheets. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.

Makes 6 dozen. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Better when stored in a cool place in tight tins for several days.
