COLORADO PIE 
2 (9 inch) pie crusts
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. cooked green beans
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 can tomato soup

Line 9 inch pie plate with 1 crust.

Brown ground beef and onion. Stir in sugar, pepper, beans, salt, oregano and soup. Heat through.

Pour into pastry shell. Put top pastry on - make a few slits. Bake 400 degrees 25 minutes.

This dish is very versatile. Substitute another vegetable; add mushrooms, cheese. The variety is up to you. Can be made earlier in the day - just heat a little longer if refrigerated.
