BARBECUED SPARERIBS APPETIZERS 
2 lbs. spareribs
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar or lemon juice
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Have ribs cut lengthwise into 2-inch wide strips. With scissors or knife, cut strips into individual ribs. Place in a cold skillet and brown on all sides over low heat; pour off drippings.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover skillet and cook over low heat about 45 minutes, or until meat is tender. Serve with remaining sauce for dipping. Makes about 4 dozen.
