1 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook until thick. Cover and chill. 1 c. granulated sugar 8 tbsp. shortening 1 tsp. vanilla

Put all ingredients in bowl. Beat until creamy. Add cooled cornstarch and milk mixture. Mix until creamy.
