SWEDISH TEA CAKES 
1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 egg yolk
1 c. flour
1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix first 2 ingredients at low speed until fluffy. Add egg yolk. Blend in flour. Chill a little so you can make balls between palms of hands, about size of small walnuts. Roll around in raw egg white.

Roll in chopped nuts. Poke center down with finger. Bake 5 minutes and poke center down again. Put back in oven for 10-15 minutes only until nice light brown. Drop 1/2 teaspoon grape jelly in center while cooling. Makes 18-24 small ones. (I double recipe.)
