BANANA SPLIT PIE 
Cooled, baked pie shell
1/2 c. real butter, slightly softened
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 bananas, sliced; sprinkle with 1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate, grated

Cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes each (medium speed). Blend in vanilla. Slice bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice. Reserve 12 slices for garnish. Fold bananas and chocolate into sugar mixture. Pour into baked pie shell; garnish with bananas on top. Place in refrigerator for about 2 or 3 hours. (Best served same day made.)
