GRANDMA DALA'S COLE SLAW 
1 head cabbage
1 grated carrot
1 chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
2 c. sugar

Mix salt and cabbage; let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out excess moisture. Add carrots and pepper and stand awhile. Make dressing with all other ingredients, and boil one minute, cool to lukewarm and pour over slowly and stir to blend. This will freeze well.
