4 LAYER DESSERT 
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
8 oz. cream cheese
1 container Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
3 pkgs. instant pudding (any flavor)
4 1/2 c. milk

Lightly grease 9x13 pan.

CRUST: Mix 2 sticks butter and 2 cups flour; mix into soft dough. Pat into pan. Press 1 cup nuts into dough. Bake glass pan at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Metal pan at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Blend 8 ounce cream cheese, 1 cup Cool Whip, 1 cup powdered sugar; mix with mixer; spread with spatula on cooled crust.

Mix 3 packages pudding, 4 1/2 cups milk until thick. Spread on last layer.

For the 4th layer spread the remaining Cool Whip.
