PEACH COBBLER 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
4 to 5 tbsp. cold water
4 c. sliced peaches
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle cold water over surface; stir with fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape into ball. Roll dough into a 14x12 inch rectangle; cut a 10 x 5 1/2 inch rectangle from dough and place in bottom of a 10x6x2 inch baking dish. Cut remaining dough into strips 1/2 inch wide.

Spoon peaches into dish; add 3/4 cup water. Place strips lattice fashion over peaches.

Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over cobbler. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
